Memberships

The Matrescence Center is...

A community of health and wellness designed specifically for mothers of color.

Here, we support and uplift one another, fight for reproductive justice, and take the time to care for ourselves.

Why does the Matrescence Center exist?

We created the Matrescence Center to tackle the growing crisis of Black and Brown mothers and babies in Kansas suffering from preventable health complications in pregnancy/childbirth. We are leading the fight for change while supporting Black and Brown mothers & babies. As a member, you will be part of a community of mothers who are supporting one another and working collectively to make our voices heard.

Members receive access to our exclusive wellness services at The Matrescence Center including…

Meditation + Mutual Aid

As a member, you can book your own private appointment for a relaxing custom meditation session (45 minutes) in our “Zen Den” meditation room. Your session will be followed by an individual mutual aid appointment (15 minutes) to pick up a bundle of baby or maternity items that we put together just for you. Appointments are available during the daytime, on evenings and on weekends to fit your busy schedule.

We all NEED and deserve some pampering, so pull up a chair and join us, sis!
