We created the Catalyst training after listening to the concerns of many aspiring doulas who didn’t get what they needed from the “typical” trainings on the market. Doula work is high-stakes and like so many other roles, you can’t learn all the essentials you’ll need with just a couple weekend trainings. That’s why so many people who take a “weekend warrior” doula training never actually step into doula work. You deserve better- with the Catalyst training, you’ll get what you’re looking for. - A flexible training schedule. Pair your self-paced online modules (80%) with your choice of dates for live skill drills (20%) to create a training schedule that fits your busy life! When you enroll, you get a full YEAR of access to the training modules and skill drills. We cover everything you need and more– and you choose the pace.
- Live skill drills are included to make sure you get the hands-on practice you need to be confident and build necessary skills. The live skill drills are available to take several times each year in-person OR via live instruction online from anywhere.
- We include business and marketing skills as well as individual mentorship to make sure that your doula business not only launches- but is successful. Other trainings leave you on your own to figure out how to launch your doula business, but we’re invested in making sure YOU get what you need to be successful.
- Our rigorous curriculum includes comprehensive and essential skills that you’ll need as you step into professional doula work.

80% of the lessons are online modules that can be completed at your own pace and 20% will be live, with flexible dates offered several teams a year. Skill drills for the live portion of training will be offered several times each year in person and virtually.
Students can complete the course at their own pace- take it a little at a time, or take it at a faster pace. Your enrollment gets you a full year of access to the curriculum, so you can choose your own training schedule.
